I was invited, along with other representatives of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), to collaborate on our wellness package through the unique lens of our LGBTQIA+ employees. We discussed what truly matters to LGBTQIA+ people and their growing families throughout every stage of life.
Through collaboration with our LGBTQIA+ employees, their opinions were represented and valued, and those informed conversations helped shape the benefits packages that SSOE now offers. When employees are given a seat at the table and treated with compassion and respect, it speaks to a company culture that truly cares about its employees and their lives outside of the office walls.”
