David Willoughby

David is responsible for the growth of the firm’s architecturally focused group in Alabama. This includes client development, project management, and overall design excellence within SSOE’s core markets. Willoughby has over 30 years of architectural experience and brings expertise in the design and development of projects in a wide variety of building types. He excels in building assessment, conceptual design and development, as well as preparing final construction drawings and specifications. He has performed programming, space planning, building design, document production, sustainable design, project administration, code reviews, specifications writing, and construction administration while also managing design teams on projects of all scales.
