Lauren Collier, Associate AIA, Department Manager, VDC Global Initiatives, and Senior Associate recently authored an article for Area Development. In the article, she discusses how Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) makes the most of all the project participants’ experience and escalates effective communication to diminish risk. By doing so, this approach reduces costly last-minute project changes therefore saving the client time, trouble, and money.
Lauren has 15 years of experience and her creative passion lies in Lean, continuous improvement, and innovative model / data use solutions for design and construction operations. Lauren leads a group of VDC technical leaders and model managers whose focus is implementing new innovative technologies and best practices in design and construction.
