Toledo, Ohio, August 8, 2011 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an international engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) firm, recently announced the development of the SSOE Women in Leadership Roundtable Series. The program includes all associate, senior associate, and principal level females and focuses on addressing the unique and challenging issues faced by professional women. With only 11% of practicing engineers being women, SSOE hopes these sessions provide the tools and skills needed to succeed in a leadership position. Sessions are conducted quarterly and provide thought-provoking topics, speakers, and books to help enrich personal development.
Lisa Behrendt, SSOE Business Leader, Training and Development said, “SSOE is proud to dedicate focused resources and dollars to support this initiative. We are committed to the personal and professional development of all our employees and I think our 97% employee retention rate shows this.”
In addition to professional roundtables, SSOE has many other training and development initiatives. These include tuition reimbursement, computer training series, career development workshops, and many more.
