TOLEDO, Ohio, August 6, 2019 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, is proud to announce their commitment to the upcoming 2019 Toledo Jeep Fest. This weekend—August 9th, 10th, and 11th—downtown Toledo will host an incredible event that promotes the iconic Jeep brand’s partnership with the City of Toledo. SSOE is proud to sponsor the Jeep Speakers Series taking place on Saturday, August 10th at the SeaGate Convention Center from 12:30pm – 4:30pm.
The Jeep Speakers Series will consist of several presentations, including one by Toledoan Taylor Langhals, Automotive Designer and Chief Exterior Designer of the Gladiator, followed by Mark Allen, FCA Head of Jeep Design, who oversaw the entire design process for the Gladiator. Additional speakers include Tiffany Eckert for a Folds of Honor presentation, Dean Shirley for East Coast Overland Adventures, Dan Grec for The Road Chose Me, and Keri Porter for Ladies Off Road Network. Closing out the speaker series, all community workers, including the United Auto Workers (UAW), Building Trades, Teamsters, firefighters and police offers, as well as the Toledo Federation of Teachers will be honored for their hard work and dedication to Toledo’s workforce. The speaker series will take place surrounded by historical Jeep displays.
The Toledo Jeep Fest, held annually during the second weekend in August, celebrates the rich history that the Jeep brand brought to the Toledo region. For decades, Jeep has played an important role in many lives globally and in 2019 the Toledo Jeep Fest will welcome visitors throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In 2018, Toledo Jeep Fest brought more than 60,000 people to the area and the committee anticipates another record-breaking year.
