TOLEDO, Ohio, August 1, 2017 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, recently welcomed back Paul Spinazze as Division Manager and Senior Associate for their Asia-Pacific Operations. He previously worked for SSOE from 1987 to 1994 as an electrical engineer / project manager.
In his new role, Paul is responsible for directly supporting SSOE’s China and India operations and is based at SSOE’s corporate headquarters in downtown Toledo, Ohio. Some of his responsibilities include the development of business strategy for Asia-Pacific operations as well as directing and coordinating all regional, country, operation, division, and department activities. SSOE’s international operations are playing a huge role in their recent growth. Overall, the firm has experienced 16 straight months of positive year-over-year growth—along with double-digit growth over the last 8 months. SSOE was recently awarded several exciting project wins globally, including the complete design of Sentury Tire’s 1.4 million square-foot manufacturing facility in LaGrange, Georgia— a direct result of the firm’s local resources in Shanghai, China working in close collaboration with U.S. office locations—and a major semiconductor project in China.
Prior to joining SSOE, Paul spent 14 years as a vice president, engineering and quality, and director of special projects / new business development for Tronair Inc., a provider of quality aircraft ground support equipment for the aerospace industry. In total, he has nearly 30 years of professional experience providing engineering and construction management services to commercial and industrial clients.
“Paul’s background of engineering, equipment fabrication, and construction, combined with international distribution, is a perfect fit for our Asian operations,” said Vince DiPofi, Chief Strategy Officer and Chairman of the Board at SSOE. “He will support the growing Chinese markets of semiconductor and healthcare while bringing a sharpened focus to our financial position in these businesses.”
Paul received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo and his Master of Finance from Seattle University.
