NASHVILLE, Tennessee, February 24, 2025 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm in Nashville for nearly 40 years, announces that Milan Alinaghian, PE, Civil Engineer, will participate in a panel discussion taking place at the upcoming Urban Land Institute (ULI) Nashville Pathways to Inclusion event on Tuesday, February 25, at the Nashville Public Library.
Driving Development in Diverse Communities
The panel, titled “Pathways in Action: Local Work by Diverse Practitioners,” will be held from 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m. CST. During this discussion, attendees will hear from ULI Nashville’s Pathways to Inclusion, a cohort whose mission is to promote the visibility and advancement of diverse communities in the real estate and land use industries and within ULI Nashville. SSOE’s Alinaghian, a member of Pathways to Inclusion for two years, will be one of five panelists invited to share the work of the cohort and the R.E.D. Academy, launched by ULI Nashville’s partner organization, the Urban League of Middle Tennessee.
Together, Pathways to Inclusion and the R.E.D. Academy are developing projects across industrial, multifamily, retail, office, and affordable housing, helping to provide resources to underrepresented developers to increase the scale and size of commercial real estate projects through knowledge, mentorship, and capital, while also increasing affordable housing in Nashville. Alinaghian and fellow panelists will share wins, losses, challenges, and triumphs.
Alinaghian, who has been with SSOE for nearly two years of his burgeoning career, is a licensed professional engineer in Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina with seven years of collective experience in commercial, industrial, and residential site design and permitting. His expertise in the entitlement, zoning, and site design process has made Alinaghian a great asset to clients, site selectors, and economic development teams working with cities in various states on projects including retail stores, gas stations, manufacturing facilities, and townhome developments.
