Passage of the examination and earning the CHID credential signifies that Hrosko has met the standards for education, experience, and examination and is a board certified healthcare interior designer. A minimum of three years of healthcare interior design experience, a portfolio review, and professional references are required before being eligible to take the comprehensive examination. The CHID examination is a rigorous assessment requiring examinees to demonstrate competence in a variety of aspects that affect the healthcare interior environment. The examination covers acute care, ambulatory care / outpatient, long term care / senior living, medical facilities / other, retail / hospitality, support services, allied professions, codes and guidelines, environmental, evidence based design and professional business practice.

Hrosko graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Industrial Design and has worked in the interior design field for over 20 years. Her expertise with space visualization, space planning, attention to detail, and complete project execution are a true asset for her clients. Over the last 10 years, Hrosko has worked on 60+ healthcare-related projects. Through the years, she has worked with hospital administrators, physicians, surgeons, as well as hospital school boards, committees, and clients to develop interior standards with new materials to provide a functional, healing, and lasting environment.
