November 17, 2009– SSOE Group announced today that their healthcare experts have been selected to present at the National Rural Health Association’s (NRHA) 33rd Annual Conference, May18 -21, 2010 in Savannah, Georgia. The presentation, “A Call to Rethink the Healthcare Design Process for Rural Providers: The Healthy Building Concept,” will discuss a unique approach to designing rural healthcare facilities which integrates familiar design tools such as Lean, Sustainable, and Evidence-Based Design. This ensures a coordinated approach to creating “Healthy-Buildings” which in turn, properly supports a healthy community.
Bob Siebenaller, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP and Eric Murrell, RA, CCS, CSI; are scheduled to present at 11:00a.m. on May 19, 2010. The material presented during this time will allow attendee’s to gain an understanding of the Healthy Building Concept and its role in creating enhanced environments of care for rural communities as well as how to implement and sustain a “Healthy Building” policy at their organization.
