COLUMBIA, South Carolina, April 1, 2020 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm, is proud to announce that David McNeice, P.E., MLSE, SE1, SE2, was named one of Columbia Regional Business Report’s Icons and Phenoms. McNeice is one of 28 individuals who include 14 game-changers and 14 established community advocates.
The award recognizes individuals for their influence in the community. The Columbia Regional Business Report will celebrate the nominees during an award ceremony on July 9th. The honorees were nominated by Columbia Business Report readers and selected by a panel of judges. Among this year’s honorees were professionals serving in local non-profits, architecture and engineering firms, real estate, banking, and law.
McNeice, senior associate, director of structural engineering, is a proud native of Columbia, S.C. To date, he has worked in nearly every sector of the A/E/C industry on projects in the commercial, judicial, K-12, and higher education markets. Additionally, McNeice is actively involved in his community, volunteering for organizations like Habitat for Humanity, coaching youth sports teams, serving on the maintenance board of his church at Spring Valley Presbyterian Church, and serving with the South Carolina State Guard (SCSG) Engineering Detachment’s Ready Reserve, where he provides professional engineering support to state and local government agencies and civil relief organizations.
