BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, February 13, 2020 — SSOE Group, a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, is excited to welcome Ryan Pruett to their Birmingham office as Engineering Project Director for SSOE Systems, the firm’s construction management business. Ryan’s addition further solidifies SSOE’s strategic commitment to expanding the firm’s Southeast presence and depth of resources in the region to deliver great client service.
Ryan has a long-established track record of leadership and engineering in construction, compliance, system planning, and business development within the natural gas utility industry, as well as mechanical maintenance / project management within the power and steel industries, and extensive management experience over production, maintenance, and construction contractor personnel within a manufacturing environment. In his previous position, he served as Construction Engineering Manager for SPIRE, the fifth largest publicly traded natural gas company in the country, serving over 1.7 million customers. There, Ryan managed a team of engineers and analysts, assigning and directing workload and providing guidance for designing gas pipeline replacement projects and regulator stations. In his new position at SSOE, he will be responsible for the full performance of project or program phases including capital planning, inception, design, construction, commissioning / validation, and project closeout. Additionally, Ryan will oversee the planning, directing, supervising, and controlling of all technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of contractual and capital project management activities. Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University in Alabama.
