TOLEDO, Ohio, August 25, 2020 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, is proud to announce that they have been selected to provide planning, design, and owner representative services to GEDIA Automotive Group for a new advanced manufacturing facility in Dalton, Georgia.
GEDIA Georgia LLC will produce lightweight body-in-white automotive parts and assemblies, as well as chassis components at the Dalton plant. This new facility in the southeast will be the company’s second U.S. plant; their first is located in Michigan.

SSOE, nationally ranked Top 5 automotive assembly plant design firm (ENR, 2020), has a roster of clients who manufacture more than 50% of the cars sold in the world. Recently, SSOE added two new electric vehicle manufacturers to the list including Lucid Motors, located in Casa Grande, Arizona. Lucid is building an 820,000 SF facility that will produce the Lucid Air, a luxury electric car with a 400-mile range battery. SSOE is serving as the architect and engineer of record for this project.
