The Art of Bridge: SSOE Group’s Secret Weapon for Long-Term Success
Directly following Parra and Aguirre’s case study on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, SSOE’s Luis Angel Garcia, VDC Technical Leader, along with Autodesk’s Matt Burness, Senior Manager, Product Management, will present “The Art of Bridge: SSOE Group’s Secret Weapon for Long-Term Success” at 4:30 p.m. (PDT).
Whether a construction project is simple or complex, everyone on the project must have access to the same information for greater efficiency. SSOE is no stranger to this concept. The firm continuously develops new workflows to facilitate effective cross-team collaboration using the Bridge collaboration tool in Autodesk Construction Cloud. This skills-based instructional session will walk attendees through the product basics of Bridge. It will also convey SSOE’s best practices for implementing Bridge to standardize data sharing and ensure all project stakeholders can access project information during and after construction.
Kicked in the Assets: An R&D Lab Case Study for Autodesk Construction Cloud
On Thursday, October 17, 2024, SSOE’s Stacy Stulpin, Project Manager in our Chemical Process division, will present “Kicked in the Assets: An R&D Lab Case Study for Autodesk Construction Cloud” at 1:30 p.m. (PDT).
In this session, attendees will get an up-close look at the Autodesk Construction Cloud Assets module and examine how SSOE has implemented it to organize and manage lab, mechanical, and electrical equipment while mapping Revit models to improve design coordination. This case study demonstrates how accurately tracking assets throughout the project lifespan can lead to more efficient coordination among design / engineering disciplines, owners, and installation contractors. From the project management perspective, attendees will hear the benefits gained by referencing assets to the schedule, photos, and issues modules, and learn how to create reports in Autodesk Construction Cloud.
