Scott Courtney, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Senior Healthcare Planner, is a client-centered healthcare architect and planner with over 23 years of experience in architecture—specifically focused on healthcare planning for the past 17 years. A dedicated and collaborative relationship manager, Scott’s skillful approach to building strong working partnerships with clients and ability to successfully lead project teams through the design process while providing them with creative design solutions is nothing less than extraordinary. As a seasoned architect with both a Bachelor and Master of Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy, Scott is committed to advancing and improving patient health and well-being through thoughtful design. Scott has applied his expertise in the design and planning of global healthcare projects for clients that include the Cleveland Clinic, Veterans Administration, Central Michigan University College of Health, Beaumont Hospital, Detroit Medical Center, and the University of Michigan Health System. Scott has worked on projects across the entire spectrum of planning, from master planning and concepts, to implementation and design of units, departments, and entire facilities.
