TOLEDO, Ohio, March 16, 2018 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, is proud to announce that its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bob Howell was appointed as a new trustee to replace retiring board member Mike Anderson, Chairman of The Andersons, Inc., a Toledo-based agribusiness. At Toledo Community Foundation’s annual meeting on March 7, 2018, Bob was elected to serve a 4-year term beginning this year.
In addition to volunteering his time to various professional, educational, and community nonprofits, Bob is active on several Toledo-area boards, including the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office Drug Abuse Response Team (DART), Toledo Science Society, Toledo Public Schools (TPS) Foundation, Distinguished Clown Corps, University of Toledo College of Business and Innovation, Business Engagement and Leadership Council, and Read for Literacy—among others.
