TOLEDO, Ohio, October 14, 2024 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), an internationally ranked architecture and engineering firm, announced today that two employees earned professional registrations and 17 employees earned professional certifications during the fourth quarter of SSOE’s 2024 planning year. Attainment of professional licensures and certifications is strongly encouraged at SSOE. The company covers the expense of preparation classes and exam fees and provides paid time off to take the exam. As an added incentive, once an employee has passed an exam, they are awarded a recognition bonus.
Licensures
Professional Engineer
To become licensed, engineers must complete a four-year college degree, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams and earn a license from their state’s licensure board. Then, to retain their licenses, PEs must continually maintain and improve their skills throughout their careers.
Nadine Rassam, PE, Structural Engineer, recently earned her professional engineering license. Nadine is a University of Baghdad and Wayne State University graduate with a bachelor’s in architectural engineering and a master’s in civil engineering, respectively. She works in SSOE’s Troy, Michigan office and supports the firm’s Facilities operations with her 11 years of experience.

He works in SSOE’s Hillsboro, Oregon office and supports the firm’s Advanced Technology operations with his seven years of experience.
