TOLEDO, Ohio, January 10, 2017 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, announced today that two of its employees earned professional certifications during the first quarter of SSOE’s 2017 planning year. Attainment of professional licensures and certifications is strongly encouraged at SSOE. In fact, the company covers the expense of preparation classes and exam fees as well as provides paid time off to take the exam. As an added incentive, once a staff member has passed an exam, they are awarded a recognition bonus.
Certifications
Ryan Beat, PE, Electrical Engineer, recently earned credentials as a Wonderware® Certified Application Developer in InTouch® 2014 R2 and Application Server 2014 R2 upon successful completion of exams for both products. The exams measure a candidate’s mastery of the industrial software and the fundamentals of application design. Adept in the engineering and design of control systems for the manufacturing industry using various PLC and HMI software applications in addition to Wonderware, Ryan graduated from the University of Toledo with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and has over 15 years of experience. He works in SSOE’s Toledo, Ohio office.
Tom Fitzpatrick, PE, PMP, Senior Project Manager, recently earned his Project Management Professionals (PMP) certification. PMP certification, awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI), indicates that the individual possesses the knowledge and skill necessary to lead and direct project teams, and deliver project results within the constraints of schedule, budget, and resources. With over 30 years of engineering experience, Tom is responsible for managing various utility-related projects for industrial, municipal, and institutional facilities. He works in SSOE’s Toledo, Ohio office.
