TOLEDO, Ohio, October 21, 2016 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global project delivery firm for architecture, engineering, and construction management, is proud to announce that the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Ohio honored Master Architect Louise Schlatter, AIA, NCARB, for her role as a mentor to younger colleagues pursuing a career in architecture. Louise received the award in a ceremony at the Akron Public Library on October 7, 2016. The event was part of AIA Ohio’s 2016 Convention.
A LEED® accredited professional (LEED AP BD+C), Louise has more than 30 years of design experience with a talent for helping clients meet their sustainable goals. Her groundbreaking work with manufacturing and R&D campuses started with her success leading the first Gold LEED certified building in the State of Ohio. Additionally, she is an active member of SSOE’s Sustainable Design Committee, a body that promotes, trains, and provides sustainable resources for employees.

AIA Ohio, a society of the AIA that represents more than 2,000 licensed architects and associate architects, is at the forefront of influencing statewide public policy through its government affairs program.
