POINT CLEAR, Alabama, July 10, 2015 – SSOE Group (www.ssoe.com), a global engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) firm, announced today that Alexandra Segers, Dipl.-Ing, PE, Program Manager and International Senior Account Executive at SSOE, has been invited to present at the Economic Development Association of Alabama (EDAA) Summer Conference. The event will take place July 19-22, 2015 at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama. To supplement her presentation “Changes in the Site Selection Process,” Segers will also facilitate a panel discussion on “the New Automotive Corridor”; Dennis Cuneo, Outside Board Member for SSOE will participate as a panelist.
During the presentation Segers will discuss how the typical site selection process is accelerating due to several different factors, including the high market demand in the automotive industry. A complex site selection case study will be reviewed which involved the consideration of 14 different states in a compressed schedule. In closing, Segers will also share what state and local communities can do to be prepared for fast track site selections.

Currently leading SSOE’s Atlanta, Georgia office, Alexandra Segers has nearly 20 years of experience managing international projects for Fortune 500 clients. This has given her special insight into the unique needs of multinational clients. Alexandra puts this expertise to use, specializing in assisting clients with site selection outside their country of origin. She is experienced in leading teams through nearly every phase of a project, including planning, programming, design, and construction. Alexandra received her master’s degree or “Diplom-Ingenieur” in civil engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, now named KIT-Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany.
