Whether it’s receiving information, opportunities, or gifts – make sure it comes from a trusted source.

For instance –

• Receiving false information may not be an act of ill will, but it could put you or your project in harm’s way. Make sure the source of your information is credible.
• Internet and phone scams are still common and people have been known to lose their life’s savings.
• You really never know who will show up for meet-up from the Internet (classified sites, dating sites, etc.). Meet in public, preferably during daylight, and bring a companion if possible.
